I'm hopeful it will work, and with a proper connection the battery life will be good. So, instead of buying a new cable (which are not plentiful and relatively expensive) I bought a 2.5 to 2.1 mm converter plug and I get it Saturday. I did notice the connection was slightly loose on first day, but it worked so I didnt give it much thought at the time. The cable I bought is 5.5mm OD and 2.5mm ID. After much fiddling around, I think I know what the issue is. When I plugged into the gimbal, it wouldnt power the camera. good strategy right? Well, I got a little over 50 min on camera battery. I went out today, and I thought I would use the camera battery first, then plug into gimbal after internal battery drained. the indicator is not very precise but it still had one bar. And I still had more gimbal battery left. It powered both the camera and gimbal fine for about 2 hours. I'm interested in Moza 2 so if your report is good, I'm putting it in my Amazon Cart! So, I have mixed reporting.Ģ days ago I went out and powered the camera with the Moza Air 2. I guess the Moza doesn't come with a cable? Also, did you get the coiled cable or the straight one? ![]() Pnguyen720 wrote:Thanks for the quick reply, Frank. I could probably mount that battery on a quick release on the tripod handle, and stick it in my pocket when doing handheld work. I prefer powering the camera the with power cable too, because if the battery dies during the take, the internal battery will take over. Definitely a lighter solution then my V-mount battery. Approximately $100 does not include shipping costs We currently use this battery, but I don't know if you can buy it. I'm not interested in V-Mount or external battery solutions right now - please just battery suggestions. I also read that the Blackmagic LP E6 cannot be charged by Canon chargers?! So what is the best solution for this. ![]() So what is a good battery for the Pocket 4k (just now the firmware seems to make better use of)?
